Psoriasis torments for years. The skin flakes, red plaques appear, and flare-ups return again and again — even after courses of hormonal ointments and expensive procedures. If you recognize yourself in this description, this article is for you.
I am Andriy Duyko, a phytotherapist with over 20 years of experience, founder of the Tibetan Formula brand. Over the years, I have seen hundreds of people with psoriasis. The main conclusion I’ve made: treating only external symptoms does not provide lasting results. The skin is a mirror of the body’s internal state. To change the skin’s condition, you need to change what’s happening inside.
What is psoriasis really?
Psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune disease where skin cells renew 5–7 times faster than normal. Instead of the usual 28–30 days, the cycle shortens to 4–5 days, leading to the accumulation of immature cells on the skin surface as scales and plaques.
But psoriasis is not just a “skin disease.” It is a systemic inflammatory process that affects the entire body. Key mechanisms:
- Immune system imbalance — T-lymphocytes attack the body’s own skin cells
- Chronic inflammation — elevated levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α, IL-17, IL-23)
- Overload of the liver and lymphatic system — toxins are not properly eliminated
- Gut microbiome imbalance — dysbiosis intensifies systemic inflammation
- Stress — one of the most common triggers of flare-ups
That’s why treatment with only topical agents provides a temporary effect: you remove the symptom but not the cause.
Comprehensive approach: why it works?
Over 20+ years of practice, I have developed an approach to psoriasis that covers four directions simultaneously:
- Cleansing the body from within (lymph, blood, intestines)
- Reduction of systemic inflammation
- Liver and immune support
- Skin recovery from the outside
When all four directions work simultaneously, the body gets the conditions for true recovery. Below is the full course I recommend for psoriasis.
🔹 Internal support: tablets and capsules
Psoriatiks Complex — prevention of psoriasis flare-ups
A specially designed complex of 4 systemic-acting products: reduces pathological skin cell renewal, supports immune balance, and lowers inflammation. This is the foundation of any psoriasis treatment course — the product that starts the recovery process.
Japanese Sophora Extract 500 mg — support for dermatitis and skin problems
Rutin and sophora flavonoids strengthen the vascular wall, reduce capillary permeability, and decrease inflammatory reactions in the skin. Clinically proven effective for dermatitis, eczema, and psoriasis. Also improves blood microcirculation in the dermis.
Curcumin 500 mg — reducing inflammatory processes
Curcumin is one of the most powerful natural anti-inflammatory agents. It suppresses the synthesis of pro-inflammatory cytokines TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6, which are key mediators of psoriatic inflammation. At the same time, it is a potent antioxidant that protects cells from oxidative stress.
Betulin — liver and immune support
Betulin from birch bark has a pronounced hepatoprotective effect: it protects liver cells from toxic load, normalizes bile secretion, and supports the body's detoxification function. A healthy liver is key to clear skin, as it filters toxins that would otherwise be expelled through the skin.
Limfonorm — lymph and blood cleansing
The lymphatic system is the body's main "filter." In psoriasis, it is often overloaded with toxins and inflammation products. Limfonorm stimulates lymphatic drainage, cleanses the blood, and reduces the overall toxic load on the body — directly affecting skin condition.
🔹 Liquid forms: deep action at the cellular level
Liquid preparations are absorbed faster and act at the cellular level — especially important for systemic diseases like psoriasis.
Colloidal Silver — antifungal and cleansing action
Silver ions have a broad spectrum of antimicrobial action: they inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria, fungi, and viruses. In psoriasis, they help reduce microbial load on the skin and intestines — an important factor since dysbiosis is one of the triggers of flare-ups.
Liquid Chlorophyll — body cleansing, blood support
Liquid chlorophyll binds and removes toxins, oxygenates the blood, and supports acid-base balance. Regular use helps reduce inflammation and improve skin condition from within. It also supports a healthy gut microbiome.
Liquid kaolin — detox for allergies and intoxication
A natural mineral sorbent binds toxins in the intestines and removes them from the body. Especially effective for allergic reactions and skin manifestations related to intoxication. Helps break the vicious cycle of “toxins → inflammation → psoriasis flare-up.”
Isoton — antiviral and antimicrobial support
An isotonic solution with natural ingredients supports the body's protective functions, reduces viral and microbial load—a crucial factor in autoimmune skin diseases.
🔹 External care: ointments and balms
Topical treatments for psoriasis are not a cure but support: they reduce symptoms, moisturize, and protect affected skin. However, they deliver much better results when combined with an internal course.
Psoriatix balm — reduces psoriasis symptoms
A specialized balm based on natural ingredients: reduces scaling, relieves itching, softens plaques, and promotes skin barrier restoration. Specifically developed for skin with psoriasis—without aggressive chemical components.
Rodopi balm — for psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis
A unique formula based on Bulgarian herbs and essential oils. It has pronounced anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and regenerative effects. Effective for psoriasis, eczema, neurodermatitis, and other chronic dermatoses. Well tolerated even by sensitive skin.
Isotonic balm — anti-inflammatory and bactericidal action
A balm with an isotonic formula reduces inflammation, redness, and skin swelling. Its bactericidal action prevents secondary infection of affected areas—a common complication in psoriasis.
Gabix ointment — healing affected skin areas
An ointment based on natural ingredients accelerates skin regeneration, heals cracks and erosions. Especially effective for deep skin lesions and during flare-ups when the skin needs intensive recovery.
🔹 Phyto teas: gentle cleansing and support
Herbal teas are a gentle but systematic way to support the body from within. They work gradually but steadily and are an important part of a comprehensive course.
Gastronorm tea — restoring gastrointestinal function
Skin condition is directly related to gut health. Gastronorm normalizes microflora, reduces mucosal inflammation, and improves nutrient absorption — which is critically important in psoriasis. Healthy gut = fewer toxins = fewer flare-ups.
Serantal tea — stress reduction (a common psoriasis trigger)
Stress is one of the most common triggers of psoriasis flare-ups. Serantal, based on calming herbs, lowers cortisol levels, normalizes sleep, and reduces nervous tension. Eliminating the stress trigger is an important part of the comprehensive approach.
Immunogrand tea — immune support
In autoimmune diseases, it is important not just to “boost” immunity but to balance its function. Immunogrand, based on a herbal blend, helps normalize the immune response — reducing hyperreactivity, which underlies psoriasis.
